LOWEST-POWER, SC70 RESET ICs ARE PERFECT FOR PORTABLE EQUIPMENT
SUNNYVALE, CA—January 31, 2000—Maxim Integrated Products introduces the MAX6326/MAX6327/MAX6328/MAX6346/MAX6347/
MAX6348 microprocessor (µP) supervisory circuits in the miniature 3-pin SC70 package (one-half the size of the SOT package). Designed to monitor supply rails of +2.5V to +5V in µP and digital systems, these devices reduce cost and eliminate external components and adjustments. They consume only 500nA supply current, making them ideal for battery-powered and portable equipment.
The MAX6326/MAX6327/MAX6328/MAX6346/MAX6347/MAX6348 feature 2.5% reset threshold accuracy over temperature. Whenever the supply voltage goes below the device's threshold, a reset signal is asserted and maintained for at least 100ms after VCC returns above the reset threshold. The MAX6326/MAX6346 feature a push-pull active-low RESET output; the MAX6327/MAX6347 feature a push-pull active-high RESET output; and the MAX6328/MAX6348 feature an open-drain active-low RESET output. The MAX6326/MAX6327/MAX6328 include reset trip thresholds from 2.2V to 3.1V, and the MAX6346/MAX6347/MAX6348 include reset trip thresholds from 3.3V to 4.6V in approximately 100mV increments. Reset outputs are guaranteed valid to 1.0V.
Prices for these parts start from $0.98 (2500 or 10,000 minimum, FOB USA).
