3V AND 5V DELAY LINES ARE 70% SMALLER THAN THE COMPETITION


DALLAS, TX-June 21, 2002-Dallas Semiconductor introduces the DS1110 and DS1110L the industry's first all-silicon 10-tap delay lines available in the tiny 14-pin TSSOP package. The DS1110 is a higher performance, drop-in replacement for the industry-standard DS1010 delay line. New-generation technology allows calibration improvements, giving twice the delay precision with an 80% reduction in jitter. In addition to performance improvements, the DS1110 is available in the tiny 14-pin TSSOP package, making it 70% smaller than the competition.

The DS1110 offers 10 equally spaced taps that give delays up to 10 times the input pulse width while maintaining delay precision. Accuracy is specified over both commercial and industrial temperature ranges. Delays of 10ns to 50ns per tap and up to 500ns total delay are available with both leading- and trailing-edge accuracy.

Two versions are available: the DS1110 (5V) and the DS1110L (3V). The DS1110 comes in 14-pin DIP and 16-pin SO packages to match DS1010 footprints. Both the DS1110 and DS1110L are available in a 14-pin TSSOP package. Prices start at $4.50 (1000-up, FOB USA).
