NEW HIGH-OUTPUT-DRIVE AMPLIFIER IN A TINY UCSP DELIVERS 120mW
SUNNYVALE, CA-May 30, 2002-Maxim Integrated Products introduces the MAX4369 dual op amp in a tiny 9-bump chip-scale package (UCSP) (1.5mm x 1.5mm). This amplifier delivers up to 120mW into 16 from a single supply, has very low 0.03% THD+N, and operates down to 2.3V.
The MAX4369 features Rail-to-Rail® outputs, delivers 125mA of output drive, while drawing only 2mA of quiescent supply current from a single 2.3V to 5.5V supply. It is unity-gain stable to 3.5MHz and has a high 96dB PSRR. The MAX4369 also features a low-power shutdown mode, clickless/popless operation, and thermal overload and short-circuit protection. The combination of high output drive, low power consumption, low distortion, and a tiny package makes this op amp ideal as a single-ended headphone driver in portable audio applications. The amplifier is guaranteed over a -40°C to +85°C temperature range. Prices for the MAX4369 start at $0.34 (1000-up, FOB USA).
