145MHz, RAIL-TO-RAIL OUTPUT VIDEO AMPLIFIERS FOR UNDER $0.20 PER AMPLIFIER
SUNNYVALE, CA-February 26, 2002-Maxim Integrated Products introduces the MAX4389/MAX4390/MAX4392-MAX4396 single, dual, triple, quad, low-cost, 145MHz video amplifiers in SC70, SOT23, and TSSOP packages. The combination of Rail-to-Rail® outputs, low power, wide bandwidth, and high-impedance disable mode in ultra-small packaging makes these op amps ideal for consumer applications such as set-top boxes and DVD players.
The MAX4389/MAX4390/MAX4392–MAX4396 operate from a 4.5V to 11V single supply or from ±2.25V to ±5.5V dual supplies and require only 6.5mA quiescent supply current, while achieving a 145MHz -3dB bandwidth, a 200V/µs slew rate, and a ±35mA output current drive. In addition, these devices offer a 0.1dB gain flatness to 35MHz, low-differential gain/phase of 0.015%/0.015°, and a spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR) of
-59dBc at 5MHz. Their input common-mode range extends to the negative rail (ground in single-supply applications), and their outputs swing rail-to-rail.
