500MHz, 3V/5V, SC70 AMPLIFIERS CONSUME ONLY 1.7mA OF SUPPLY CURRENT


SUNNYVALE, CA-November 22, 2000-Maxim Integrated Products announces the MAX4412/MAX4413 single/dual 500MHz op amps with Rail-to-Rail® outputs in 5-pin SC70, 5-pin SOT23, and 8-pin SOT23 packages. These devices operate from a single +2.7V to +5.5V supply and consume only 1.7mA of supply current per amplifier. The combination of high speed, ultra-low power, and miniature packaging makes these amplifiers ideal for space-limited low-power/low-voltage high-speed portable applications such as video, communications, and instrumentation.

The MAX4412/MAX4413 input common-mode voltage range extends 100mV below ground and to within 1.5V of the positive supply rail with excellent common-mode rejection (60dB min). A Rail-to-Rail output structure swings to within 115mV of either power-supply rail with a 1k load and achieves a low 83dBc SFDR at 5MHz.

The MAX4412 is offered in ultra-small 5-pin SC70 and SOT23 packages, while the MAX4413 is offered in a space-saving 8-pin SOT23 package. Both devices are specified over the extended temperature range (-40°C to +85°C). Pricing for the MAX4412 starts at $0.85 (1000-up, factory direct, FOB USA).
