FIRST BACKUP-BATTERY RESET ICs IN SOT PACKAGE
SUNNYVALE, CA—February 16, 2000—Maxim Integrated Products introduces the MAX6361/MAX6363/MAX6364 microprocessor (µP) supervisory circuits. Designed to monitor supply rails of +2.5V to +5V in µP and digital systems, these devices reduce cost and eliminate external components and adjustments.
The MAX6361/MAX6363/MAX6364 feature ±2.5% reset threshold accuracy over temperature. These devices automatically switch RAM to backup power when VCC falls below the reset threshold. In addition, whenever the supply voltage declines below its threshold, a reset signal is asserted and maintained for at least 150ms after VCC returns above the reset threshold. All devices offer push-pull, active-low RESET-bar output; open-drain, active-high RESET-bar output; or open-drain, active-low RESET-bar output. These devices also offer a manual reset input (MAX6361), a battery-on output indicator (MAX6363), or an auxiliary user-adjustable reset input (MAX6364). All three parts consume only 10µA supply current, and their reset outputs are guaranteed valid to 1.0V.
The MAX6361/MAX6363/MAX6364 are available in 6-pin SOT packages. Prices start from $1.50 (2500 minimum, FOB USA).
