Search tips
Site search (keyword search)
Our site-search function, also called "keyword search," simultaneously conducts a part-number search and a site-wide keyword search.
- Part-number search: If you are looking for information by part number, enter the root part number, such as "MAX1234," without the package and variant suffix in the search box.
- Content filtering: The search results page (SRP) reports all matching results. Tabs across the top allow you to filter the results, e.g., to show only products, only application notes, or other categories of information.
Advanced keyword search
If you are looking for very specific information, try the advanced search. It gives you more control over the search, including Boolean (AND, OR) and special operators. The advanced search link is always available at the bottom of every search results page.
Parametric search
Do you need to find a part that meets your technical specs? The parametric search shows parts by type and lets you filter the parts for your detailed specifications. It shows parts as a parametric tree or in tables.
Solutions browse
To find Maxim products recommended for a specific solution (i.e., end equipment), browse Maxim's solutions pages. Most solutions pages show block diagrams and let you see parts specifically recommended for that function and that end equipment. If your end product is not specifically covered, there is an excellent chance that you will find similar products or functions.
Alternatively, you can perform a site search on your application and use the solutions tab to filter the results.

To get pricing and lead times for a specific Maxim part number, visit our Maxim Direct pages or one of our many distributors. Besides pricing, you will find stocking information for different purchase volume levels.
Find samples
Shortcut: www.maxim-ic.com/samples
If you know the part number, enter it in the search box and then click the relevant link in the "part number results" section of the results. This will take you to the QuickView page for your part. On the QuickView page, click the Ordering Info tab. Parts with available samples will be listed with a button labeled "Sample." Click the button to request your free product sample.
Another way to obtain samples is to visit www.maxim-ic.com/samples and enter the part number.
