Description
The MAX9880 is a low-power, high-performance, stereo audio codec designed for portable consumer products such as smartphones and mobile internet devices. This codec integrates stereo microphone amplifiers, line-input amplifiers, headphone amplifiers, and two digital audio interfaces while operating from a single 1.8V supply to ensure low power consumption. The MAX9880 provides programmable digital voiceband and audioband filters for design flexibility. The MAX9880 can be combined with an audio subsystem, such as the MAX9877, to provide a complete audio solution for portable applications.

The MAX9880 is available in a space-saving, 3.3mm x 2.5mm x 0.4mm, 48-bump WLP package or a thermally efficient, 6mm x 6mm, 48-pin TQFN package.
