The MAX5881 evaluation kit (EV kit) is a fully assembled and tested printed-circuit board (PCB) that contains all the components necessary to evaluate the performance of the MAX5881 12-bit, 4.3Gsps cable downstream direct RF synthesis digital-to-analog converter (DAC). The EV kit board includes wideband transformers for differential-to-single-ended conversion of the DAC output and for single-ended-to-differential conversion of the DAC clock.
