The DS1866 is designed for simple, low-cost trimming or volume control using either processor manual control inputs. The three-terminal parallel interface provides eight wiper positions, each giving 5dB per step.

This 10kΩ potentiometer can operate from either 3V or 5V supplies and throughout the industrial temperature range. This low-cost part is ideal for cost-sensitive applications.

Digital potentiometers replace mechanical function with digital reliability, accuracy, and automatic control with a processor. The DS1866 provides digital function with simplicity and economy.

  • Single 8-position log trimming in 5dB steps
  • Three-terminal parallel interface control: P0, P1, P2
  • Standard resistance value: 10kΩ
