High-Sensitivity GPS Module
QinetiQ's high-sensitivity GPS receiver module brings the advantages of satellite navigation to a wide range of new applications. The QinetiQ Q20 GPS receiver module is ultra-compact and offers state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor positioning capability. Using Maxim's MAX2741 GPS front-end, the Q20 module operates where conventional GPS receiver technology cannot function. With a tracking sensitivity of -189dBW, the Q20 provides an extremely fast time to first fix in strong signal environments, and acquires very weak signals in more challenging environments. The Q20 module also provides a complete range of on-board interface options to allow fast, cost-effective product integration.
