High-Sensitivity Timing Module
QinetiQ's high-sensitivity GPS timing module, the Q20 HST, brings the advantages of satellite navigation to a broad range of new applications. The Q20 HST combines QinetiQ's GPS processor and Maxim's MAX2741 GPS front-end. The GPS module offers excellent interface rejection and low-noise operation.
The Q20 HST has a tracking sensitivity of -159dBm, and is available configured for static or mobile operation. Configured for mobile operation, the software optimizes the Q20 HST for synchronizing mobile network hardware, including mobilized portable or vehicle-mounted equipment. In addition, this module is suitable for commercial applications including SCADA and event timing, synchronizing broadcast, mobile network routers, and mobile Internet hardware.
