The DS33R11 transports Ethernet packets over the existing PDH infrastructure. The DS33R11 provides an ideal solution for WAN Bridges, transparent LAN service, Ethernet demarcation devices, Ethernet extension, MSPP's, and IP DSLAMS. World's First Ethernet Mapper with Built-In T1/E1/J1 Transceivers
The DS33R11 greatly simplifies the design of multiport WAN bridges by interconnecting with commercially available Ethernet switch ICs through an MII or RMII bus. Ethernet frames are easily encapsulated in HDLC or X.86 for transport over a T1, E1, or J1 line. The integrated T1/E1/J1 transceiver contains both a full-featured framer and LIU, and is software configurable for T1, E1, or J1 operation without external component changes. Fractional T1/E1/J1 support enables combined voice and data services!
