PC-Based Design System
You can also design and lay out a Maxim high-frequency ASIC completely on a personal computer.
Maxim's PC offering includes QuicKic (for IC layout), QuERC (for electrical rules checking), full schematic symbols, and simulation models for PSpice.
Using X-Window emulation software bundled with the software, QuicKic's look and feel is exactly the same on the PC platform as it is under UNIX.
PSpice is purchased separately from Cadence. This PC-based design system will run on any fast PC with the Windows NT or Windows 95/98 operating system. We recommend at least 128MB of RAM and 300MB of free disk space.
