Analog Design System (ADS)

ADS provides an integrated schematic capture, circuit simulation, results processing, and display environment. Additional features of ADS include:
  • Unlimited levels of schematic hierarchy
  • Experiment management
  • Waveform processing
  • Simulation control
  • Schematic error checking
  • Results probing on schematics
  • Smith charts
  • User definable models with definable input/output parameters
You can create a circuit schematic using ADS's extensive libraries of element models and simulation primitives. Schematics and simulation result plots can either be printed directly to any PostScript® printer or written to a file. ADS uses TekSpice®, a nonlinear time-domain circuit simulator. The interface between ADS and TekSpice® is transparent. Using a control program, you define the type of simulation desired: DC, AC, or transient analysis. Results can be plotted, printed, or manipulated using built-in waveform functions and can be compared and plotted against one another. Experiments can be defined, simulated, and saved for later reference.
