QuERC Electrical Rules Checker
QuERC, a proprietary electrical rules checker, examines the bias conditions as provided by the simulator. Using a database of process and device limitations, QuERC identifies potential design problems early in the development process. QuERC checks for:
- Junctions biased above breakdown
- Transistors biased in saturation
- Transistors biased in region of low fT
- Excessive power dissipation
- Excessive device current
- Incorrect device polarity
- Substrate not at lowest voltage
- Resistor bias modulation
