In the December 15, 2006 issue of EDN Magazine, the MAX9982 and DS2790 were voted as two of the years Hot 100 Products.
The MAX9982 is a fully integrated SiGe active mixer that includes an LO switch, LO buffer, and on-chip baluns. This mixer is specifically designed to meet the demanding requirements of today's cellular and GSM900 wireless infrastructure applications.
The DS2790 is a programmable 1-cell Li-ion (Li+) fuel gauge and protector. This device provides an excellent platform for customizing single-cell-battery fuel-gauging algorithms due to its integrated MAXQ® microcontroller, generous program and data memory, and accurate measurement system for battery current, voltage, and temperature.
