Definition
Evaluation Kit (EV Kit, Development Kit): A printed circuit board with a Maxim/Dallas* IC and support components. Most Evaluation Kits are fully assembled and tested.
EVKIT: Part number suffix used for Maxim Evaluation Kits.
* Dallas Semiconductor often uses the term "development kit."
