Our ResourceSmart products range from high-efficiency circuits such as power supplies, to smart architectures that facilitate green system design. A good example of high efficiency circuits is the MAX9598 low-power audio/video switch for dual SCART connectors. By itself, it reduces power consumption by a factor of nine compared with competing solutions. An example of a product enabling green design from an architectural perspective is an ultra-low power comparator, such as ones in the MAX9060 series, used to detect accessories in consumer products, and turn off drivers when they are not in use.
