Description

TINI® products deliver unparalleled integration to consumer applications. The portfolio includes complete system-on-chip (SoC) solutions and codecs that integrate multiple functions to achieve advantages in board space.

A flagship member of the TINI family, the MAX64180 is a fully integrated HD camera SoC that combines high-performance audio/video subsystems with H.264 compression, an ARM® processor for system functions, AES/SHA accelerators for data security, and a host of peripheral interfaces for I/O control and system integration. This gives you a solution that fits effortlessly in TV bezels and ultra-small camera enclosures.

The MAX64180 offers a fully compliant baseline, main, and high-profile HD H.264 codec, MJPEG codec, HD MPEG2 decoder, video preprocessors and postprocessors, 240MHz ARM9™ CPU, and required peripherals like USB 2.0 OTG. At the heart of the audio/video subsystem are two real-time programmable multimedia engines (MME). One controls the video codecs and input/output processors, while the other implements the soft audio codecs and low-level analytics, leaving the ARM9 processor completely available for application programs.
