Steve Yamasaki

Steve Yamasaki joined Maxim as Vice President of Human Resources in April 2010. He brought Maxim many years of HR leadership experience from global consumer, industrial, and high-technology companies. He has demonstrated results in building high-performing global HR organizations, leading organizational change, managing talent, and developing leadership skills. He received the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD) award for company performance in working with a team to drive culture and strategic change.

Mr. Yamasaki is chartered to build a strong international HR organization. He is designing programs in talent acquisition and employee development, compensation/benefits, and employee engagement. He is improving overall organizational effectiveness.

Since his arrival, Mr. Yamasaki's initial activities have been to restructure the HR organization and build greater HR capability within Maxim, particularly in the business-focused roles, in talent acquisition, and in global support. He has provided HR leadership for integrating the Company's recent acquisitions, and has developed a strategy to drive a web-based learning delivery system globally. Currently he is focused on helping to drive the Maxim culture, as well as working to improve our HR process and IT systems.
