Walter L. Sangalli

Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Marketing

Walter Sangalli became Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing in 2011. He is responsible for the company's customer-facing organizations which include field sales and all sales operations, applications engineering, distribution, and marketing.

Mr. Sangalli joined Maxim in 1992 as a senior field applications engineer. He brought the company over 10 years experience as a design and applications engineer for leading semiconductor companies in Europe. Working for Maxim, he focused on applications and sales support in Europe and advanced in management. He managed all sales and applications in Europe since 2002.

Mr. Sangalli's tenure with the company is marked by many years of successful collaboration with customers, from innovative design concepts to strategic commercial agreements. He has built new customer relationships and built a very successful distribution network. He mentored many of the company's most successful sales and applications engineers, and watched business grow steadily. Reflecting back on his career, Mr. Sangalli recognizes the critical importance of anticipation. Always looking forward and beyond the current situation, he focuses not on today but on solutions for his team and for his customers' tomorrows.

Mr. Sangalli has an MS degree in electrical engineering from the Milan Polytechnic Institute. He currently serves as a board member for several of Maxim's international subsidiaries.
