40µ A, RAIL-TO-RAIL OP AMPS SUSTAIN 95dB AVOL WITH 10-KILOHM LOAD
SUNNYVALE, CA-November 10, 1999-Maxim Integrated Products introduces the MAX4076/MAX4077/MAX4078, single/dual/quad Rail-to-Rail® op amps, which are open-loop versions of Maxim's low-power Gain-Amp amplifiers. Unlike other rail-to-rail op amps, these devices use Maxim's patented output architecture that drives a 10kW load while maintaining 95dB open-loop gain. They feature a 230kHz gain-bandwidth product and consume 40µA of supply current. Operating from a single +2.5V to +5.5V supply, these op amps are ideal in micropower applications that require a wide output swing while maintaining excellent distortion and gain accuracy.
The MAX4076/MAX4077/MAX4078 are unity-gain stable with loads up to 100pF. They achieve an 84dB total harmonic distortion at 1kHz. The dual and quad versions exhibit 90dB of crosstalk at 100kHz.
The MAX4076 is offered in space-saving 5-pin SOT23 and 8-pin SO packages, the MAX4077 comes in 8-pin µMAX and SO packages, and the MAX4078 is available in 14-pin SO and 16-pin QSOP packages. Prices start from $0.60 (1000-up, factory direct,
FOB USA).
