LOW-COST, SINGLE, DIGITAL POTENTIOMETER IN TSSOP AND SO PACKAGES
DALLAS, TX-April 26, 2002-Dallas Semiconductor introduces the DS1805, a single-potentiometer version of our popular DS1803 dual digital potentiometer. The device contains a single 10kohm potentiometer and is pin-for-pin compatible with DS1803-based designs where only one potentiometer is used. The DS1805 was designed as a drop-in replacement in qualifying existing designs that saves customers up to 60%. The device is especially useful for cost reduction in many standard CCFL inverter circuits that utilize a 2-wire bus interface.
Samples of the DS1805 are available now in both 16-pin SO and 14-pin TSSOP packages in the extended-industrial temperature range. Prices start at $1.18 (1000-up, FOB USA).
