LOW-DRIFT VOLTAGE REFERENCE IN SOT23 GUARANTEES 10ppm/°C TEMPCO

SUNNYVALE, CA-February 19, 2002-Maxim Integrated Products introduces the MAX6033 low-drift series voltage reference in a 6-pin SOT23 package (70% smaller than other references in SO). With a temperature drift of 10ppm/°C (max) and tight 0.04% (max) initial accuracy, the MAX6033 is ideal for high-resolution analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters. The tiny SOT23 package makes this new reference well-suited for applications where board space is at a premium. The MAX6033’s 15mA source current capability allows it to be used as a power supply or for precision data converters and comparators.

The MAX6033 has output voltages of 2.5V, 3V, 4.096V, and 5V. This reference uses less than 75µA supply current and operates from a +2.7V to +12.6V supply voltage. It features a 200mV dropout voltage and low 16µVp-p, 0.1Hz to 10Hz bandwidth noise (2.5V output).

Prices for the MAX6033 start at $2.00 for the lowest grade (1000-up, FOB USA).
