San Antonio, Texas
Maxim's San Antonio Wafer Fab is located in South Central Texas, at a place where the coastal plains meet the hill country. Known for the Alamo and the Riverwalk, San Antonio is the seventh largest city, and one of the fastest growing, in the United States. The city offers museums, professional sport venues, theme park entertainment, and year-round community events and festivals. With more than 300 sunny days a year, an average high temperature of 79.5 degrees, and just over 29 inches of rain annually, the area boasts ideal weather conditions.

San Antonio residents enjoy a cost of living that is consistently one of the lowest among U.S. cities with populations of one million or more people. As of 2009, the overall cost of living in San Antonio is 10% below the national average, with home prices running 23.4% below the national mean. The city also has one of the lowest unemployment rates in the nation, and is one of the top labor markets, due in part to excellent school systems. There are numerous universities in the area, including branches of the University of Texas and Texas A&M University.

Maxim's San Antonio wafer fab is a submicron, 8-inch facility committed to supplying state-of-the-art, mixed-signal technology in volume and at the lowest cost in our industry.
