Catania, Italy
The city of Catania was established over 27 centuries ago. It was later conquered by the Romans in 263 AD and went on to become the most prosperous port in Roman Sicily. It is currently home to some 300,000 people. The city is located on the east coast of Sicily in the heart of the Mediterranean, where the climate is warm and dry.

Local sights include the 13th century Ursino Castle, an 11th century Cathedral, and two Roman amphitheaters. Taormina, known as the most beautiful little village in Sicily, lies atop a hill to the north and features an ancient Greek theater and a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean Sea.

The Maxim office is located in Misterbianco, a suburb just west of the city of Catania, in a quiet district called Etna Valley, not far from the local airport. The third floor office commands a beautiful view of the valley and Mt. Etna, the largest active volcano in Europe. The business units present at the site include ISP (Interface, Switch & Protection) and SPM (System and Power Management)-Notebook.
