The city of Bangalore is the top high-technology center in India and home to some of the most well-recognized colleges and research institutions in the country. Numerous software companies, aerospace, telecommunication, and defense organizations are located in the city. Bangalore is known as the "Silicon Valley of India" because of its position as the nation's leading IT exporter.
Bangalore is a demographically diverse city and a major economic hub. Situated south of the center of the Indian peninsula and on top of the Deccan Plateau, Bangalore has a pleasant climate year around. There are many beautiful natural parks and places of cultural interest within a few hours of driving. One of the most popular tourist attractions is Mysore city, renowned for the festivities that take place during the Dasara festival.
Maxim's India Design Center (IDC) Bangalore is located very close to the center of the city and Bangalore's old airport. Teams at this site work in many areas: complete mixed-signal IC design, starting from product specification through production support; embedded software, application software development tools and solutions; and design and development of EV (evaluation) kits for customer application development. There is also a small sales and field applications team that works with our top-tier customers, and a programming group of top-notch software engineers.
