Munich, Germany
Munich is the capital city of Bavaria, Germany, and home to international companies such as BMW and Siemens. Located on the River Isar, north of the Bavarian Alps, Munich is the third largest city in Germany, after Berlin and Hamburg. While famous mostly for its architecture, history, and art scene, the city also has endless possibilities for outdoor leisure activities.

One popular pastime is visiting the area's many castles. Undoubtedly, Neuschwanstein in the Bavarian Alps is the most famous, and one of the most popular tourist destinations in Germany. Munich is also famous for its annual Oktoberfest beer festival, now recognized as the world's largest beer festival.

The Maxim Germany (Munich) site is located in the high-tech district of Planegg, West Munich, also home to several financial and biotech companies. Many of Maxim's core business activities are found at the Munich site, which is the headquarters of Maxim's Central European office.
