Shenzhen, China
Shenzhen, China, is located in the very south of the Guangdong Province. Overlooking Hong Kong to the south and bordering Kowloon, this area is commonly referred to as Hong Kong's "backyard." Shenzhen is one of the most developed cities in the country and has grown at a rapid pace. The Shenzhen skyline has 13 buildings over 650 feet tall, including Shun Hing Square—the ninth tallest building in the world. The city is also home to some of China's most successful high-tech companies.

Shenzhen's major tourist attractions include the Window of the World, which features over 130 reproductions of some of the most famous tourist attractions in the world; Happy Valley, a theme park that includes a water area, amusement rides, and restaurants; and Safari Park, a zoo-like attraction where visitors can drive in their own vehicles to observe freely roaming animals. The city also features a number of public parks, including Lianhuashan Park, Lizhi Park, and Zhongshan Park.

The Maxim Shenzhen office is located in the Futian District, in the center of Shenzhen. The team here provides excellent support for the southern market of China. Some of the site's major customers include Huawei, ZTE, and Neophotonics.
