In 2001, Dallas Semiconductor became a wholly owned subsidiary of Maxim Integrated Products. Both the Maxim and Dallas Semiconductor brands were used until 2007, when the Dallas Semiconductor brand was retired and the company applied the Maxim brand name to all products.
