This is a very very useful but it seems little know of device. However it has a significant barrier to widespread adoption and that is the 3000MOQ and lack of takeup by distributors. Come on Maxim lower the MOQ, carry sample stock and get it out with some distributors.

Hello Rusty,
I am sorry for the delayed response...I was out the week this was posted.
Thank you for bringing this error to our attention. There is NO MOQ for this device but the system is incorrectly linking the 3k MOQ due to the Tape & Reel multiple on a SOT23 package.
As a consumer, you can buy or request free samples for the DS4305R+U without any Minimum reqruirements. Only the DS4305R+T&R has the 3k MOQ.
Maxim is also stocking product at Avnet, Digi-Key and Mouser to better serve our customers.
