We revised a previous decision to build a lifetime supply of DS2408 and set product status to Not Recommended for New Designs.
Maxim will invest the necessary engineering work for ongoing support of the device. The Not Recommended for New Designs status will be removed in the near future.

The DS2408 will continue to be available and the NRFND status will be reversed. Sorry for the delay in formally changing the website status.
