Hello,
I'm using a proprietary MAX2769 USB design with my Software Defined Radio (SDR) GNSS receiver.
In my opinion, it does not make any sense nowadays to use any other RF chip on the market. It's absolutely flexible: a year or two ahead of the competitors.
I only give it a "good" because its configurability makes it sometimes too complicated, despite the excellent Maxim support.
I hope more information about these reference designs will be given in the future.

I also hope they provide the schematics for the USB based design I need to some GPS / GNSS software processing and I hope this would give a very good startup point. I also hope they come up with generic (where SAW filter can be optional)and TCXO can also be generic.
