It would be very good application note if you have included KEY scan in it. The application should explain how Key Matrix and Display is related. How can I have a 4x4 key matrix with 16 - 8 segment LED? The key matrix has and INCREMENT DECREMENT, ENTER, CANCEL buttons. Incrementing the digits on LED would be a good example and help the people to come up with the product within no time.
