HFRD-08.0: 10Gbps (4x2.5Gbps) Active Copper Cable Assembly
Abstract: HFRD-08.0 reduces the risk associated with experimenting with 10G or 4x3.125G active cable assemblies by supplying complete documentation, performance evaluation and a fully assembled circuit board. It provides adjustable equalization for different cable lengths and reduces the impact of near-end crosstalk by regenerating the received signal before encountering interfering signals. This regeneration step significantly increases the signal-to-noise ratio thereby improving bit error margins and allowing for longer cable spans.
