APPLICATION NOTE 196

Designing a Virtual Modem Using TINI

Abstract:The Tiny InterNet Interfaces (TINI®) has built-in TCP/IP stack that supports both IPv4 and IPv6. With its on-board serial ports, TINI can be used as a modem to connect to any network through its Ethernet interface, adding network capabilities to devices almost on-the-fly. This application note demonstrates how the implementation can be rapidly realized and deployed in the field.
