Abstract: The Dallas SHA iButton® (DS1963S) is a smart token that offers many high security features and supports multiple services. This document provides an overview for implementing applications of digital identification and transactions using the SHA iButtons. A sample service implementation is used to illustrate the detailed steps required for installing the service data and conducting an electronic transaction. The usage of key API calls are discussed and the annotated listing of command and data flows for implementing each API are presented.
