Abstract: This discussion summarizes popular transmission line compensation techniques and presents a solution to compensate cable losses in "four-lane" InfiniBand™ (2.5Gbps) and 10Gbase-CX4 (3.125Gbps) transmission links. This information can be applied to Fibre Channel and Ethernet XAUI links as well.
