HFAN-09.0.4: NRZ Bandwidth - LF Cutoff and Baseline Wander

Nov 26, 2002

Abstract: A fundamental goal when designing physical-layer digital communication systems is transmission of the data signal through the system with minimum distortion. In order to accomplish this goal, it is imperative to match (as closely as possible) the system bandwidth to the bandwidth requirements of the data. The purpose of this application note is to explore the effects of limiting the low end of the system bandwidth.
