Benefits of the MAX9722 over the LM4912:

  • Differential inputs instead of the single-ended inputs of the LM4912 improves noise performance.
  • Outputs a ground referenced signal instead of a DC biased signal, eliminating the DC blocking capacitors required by the LM4912.
  • Outputs up to 130mW into a 32 ohm load instead of the 25mW output of the LM4912.
  • Lower THD+N (0.009% vs. 0.045% for the LM4912).
